The NE Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard
Gateway and Heritage Markers Concept Master
Plan supports the ongoing efforts of area residents
and business owners to enhance the unique identity
of Portland’s inner northeast neighborhoods.
The Concept Master Plan project aims to
fulfi ll the goals of long standing community plans
including the Albina Community Plan (1993), Eliot
Neighborhood Plan (1993), Martin Luther King,
Jr. Blvd. Transportation Project (1998), and Martin
Luther King, Jr. Blvd. Action Plan (2006).
