Prompted by Byron, our new member from Woodlawn, as well as your interest, we’ve invited Jasmine Zimmer-Stucky from Columbia Riverkeeper to talk about Coal and Oil Trains — the environmental/livability impacts as well as why this issue is important to take up NOW.

We’ll also debrief the Last Thursday conversation SALT hosted in April to find out what concerns or questions are lingering.

Finally, we’ll talk about which months this summer we’d like to meet, and explore other topics of interest!
