From Curious Comedy Theater:

We are thrilled to have Stephnie Weir (MadTV) and her amazing husband, Bob Dassie, at Curious this weekend bringing their improvised show WeirDass to Portland for the very first time, this Friday and Saturday.

Both Second City veterans, Stephnie and Bob are my improv heroes and true improv masters. Their shows are always hilarious – full of strong characters woven into a surprising story that will make you wonder how they could possibly make it all up on the spot. But they do.

Friday the Curious Comedy All Stars open with Nate Smith, Nathan Loveless, Bri Pruett, Alex Gavlick, Bob Ladewig and I guess I’ll play, too. Saturday’s show opens with stand up from Alex Gavlick, Anthony Lopez and Ron Funches. Crazy funny line up, then ends with a Baby Ketten Karaoke party.

Both nights – doors at 7:30, Show at 8:00. $12 advance on-line, $15 at the door.

Saturday afternoon Bob Dassie is also teaching an improv workshop on two person scenes. I’ve already told you how great he is, so you obviously don’t want to miss this. $50 for 2.5 hours.
