Our secretary position has been vacant for some months and we would like to fill the position as soon as possible. The official job description is: The Secretary shall:
1) record and maintain minutes of Membership and Board meetings,
2) maintain official records (excepting those maintained by the Treasurer) at the NE Coalition of Neighborhoods office, consistent with public records law.
3) assist the Chair with correspondence,
4) maintain the non-financial files of the Association,
5) insure that proper notice is given for all meetings,
6) make public records available for inspection for any proper purpose at any reasonable time.
An attention to detail, organization and familiarity with Microsoft Office and email are preferred. You would be tasked with accurately recording the meetings and tracking what is discussed and typing up the agenda each month.
