Hello Curious Comedy Community –

Curious Comedy Theater has been growing by leaps and bounds. But, today we are asking for your help to keep thriving. We need to raise $10,000 by the end of 2010 to pay for a railing the fire inspector is requiring us to install on our mezzanine and related expenses. Luckily, the finished railing will also serve as the first step in completing and opening our mezzanine balcony. Please give what you can. Every donation large or small makes a huge difference. Fruitcake, an improvised treat for the holidays, opened with two spectacularly hilarious shows this weekend. You can catch Fruitcake this Saturday and every weekend through December 18th.

On December 11th, Curious is sharing at least 50% of ticket sales to Proud Ground – an amazing non-profit that help people own homes who might not otherwise be able to.

On December 17th, Curious is sharing the stage with Night Flight aerial for two shows – one at 8pm and one at 10pm. Both shows will feature the first act comedy and the second act aerial pieces by Night Flight.

On December 18th, Curious will share 50% of ticket sales with In Other Words Bookstore, Portland’s venerable woman-centric bookstore and community.

So please, support us, support these great causes by coming to see Fruitcake and having a great time. Feel great by giving while feeling great cause you’re laughing.
