King NA meeting, & other n’hood events – October.

Join us October 14th for our monthly King NA meeting!

Mike Boyer, Liquor Licensing Program Coordinator at the City of Portland will speak to the King Neighborhood Association Wednesday, October 14th at 7:00 pm at the offices of the  Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods (NECN), 4815 NE 7th Avenue.

He will speak on livability issues such as living near noisy bars, late night racket from bars, and specifically, patios off bars. He will brainstorm answers about safeguards for communities with the ever expanding alcohol markets. How does this expansion affect the saturation problem in King? Mike Boyer will let us know how neighbors and his relationship with them in King will enhance livability for all.
